A visual designer in the San Francisco Bay Area, bridging brand and product through design systems and AI-native foundations. I like sweating the details — and building the systems that hold those details together as things grow.
For the last eleven years I've designed brands, products, and the systems that keep them consistent as they grow — almost always in-house, close to the teams shipping the work.
I'm a visual designer who's spent my career in-house across fintech, biotech, e-commerce, and SaaS. My work tends to sit where brand meets product: the identity, the interface, and the design system that lets the two stay one coherent thing as a company scales.
Right now I'm a Senior Visual Designer at Juniper Square, building the brand system, telling product stories in Figma and Claude Design, and experimenting with Claude Code to build my own tools. Before this I designed the design system behind DAI's Daiverse platform, built the brand and design system for DSLeague's multi-sport fantasy app, rebuilt Natera's marketing site for clinical and consumer audiences, and led the brand design for Zenfolio.
A lot of my work now runs with AI in the loop — from brand systems written so Claude can read them, to The Lists, a checklist app I designed and built end to end. I've come to treat AI like a teammate I brief, not a tool I prompt one task at a time. This portfolio is part of that too — designed and built with Claude Design.
I grew up in Vietnam and spent years living and working in Australia before settling in California. Moving between those places taught me to design for people who don't share my context — and to keep looking for what makes something feel clear and human across very different audiences.
You'll usually find me at a barre class, deep in a podcast, tinkering on a side project, or traveling with my family. I'm happiest when I'm picking up a new design skill or exploring somewhere I've never been.
